ATOL is a protection scheme for flights and air holidays, managed by the Civil Aviation Authority ("CAA"). Most firms who sell air travel in the UK are required by law to hold a licence called an Air Travel Organiser's Licence ("ATOL").

If you've booked and contracted with a tour operator for a complete air holiday package, ATOL protects you from losing money or being stranded abroad if the tour operator goes out of business. It should be noted that when you book a complete air holiday through us, we are the Tour Operator. All licensed firms have to lodge a bond with the CAA so that if they go out of business the CAA can give refunds to people who can't travel and arrange for people abroad to finish their holidays and/or fly home. There's also a Government-backed fund called the Air Travel Trust that steps in if any ATOL bond isn't enough to look after everyone affected by the failure. Our ATOL number is 3973. In addition, as we are part of the Global Travel Group and for extra protection, in the eventuality of The Global Travel Group's insolvency, both the consumer and our suppliers are protected by the use of a Client Account where money is held on behalf of the customer and supplier. Similarly, should the Global Travel Group Plc fail, the consumer's money remains within the Client Account and again, both the customer and supplier remain protected. Funds in this account are not available to the liquidator. When you book with us, you have complete peace of mind that your money is protected.
